The UNCW Association for Campus Entertainment (ACE) is proud to present one of the biggest events of the year, the organization’s annual Spring Show. Selected directly from UNCW student polls, this year’s featured performance will be Saturday Night Live’s very own Jay Pharoah! Join us for a spectacular night of comedy on Saturday, March 22nd at 7 p.m. in Kenan Auditorium.
Pharoah established his comedy skills at a young age, preparing in local comedy clubs. He went on to tour in the U.K., the U.S., and Montreal. Best known for his varied assortment of celebrity impressions, Pharoah frequently portrays President Barack Obama, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, and Kanye West. Recently starring alongside Kevin Hart and Ice Cube in “Ride Along,” Pharoah will also be showing his acting chops in “Get a Job” with Bryan Cranston and Anna Kendrick, and will star with Chris Rock in “Finally Famous.” Recently, Pharoah’s Kanye West parody “I Am A Dog” was featured on Above Average, becoming an instant viral video reaching over a million views within the first week. His has been described as a class act, multitalented and terrific, with comedy to match.
Advance tickets are available to UNCW students for $10, to UNCW faculty and staff for $12, and to the general public for $15. The day of the show, remaining tickets will be sold to UNCW students for $13, UNCW faculty and staff for $15, and the general public for $17.
