Your friend’s open mic. Just breaking into the comedy world? Wondering how you can get some stage time because the local monthly variety show just isn’t enough? How about your friend’s open mic? You know, your friend of a friend of a guy you never actually met who likes to put on ‘comedy’ shows in the back entrances of dive bars cluttered with street signs, empty kegs, and things that rhyme with nomit. I mean, hey, the guy you met at the showcase gave you a good reference for this guy’s show and the host’s name sounds funny like Gary or RJ or something. Let’s do it!
