Comedy troupe Pineapple-Shaped Lamps’s new sketch series PSL PRESENTS has enjoyed its share of
artistic and popular success this year at TheatreNOW—so much so that the group is taking a small hiatus to
catch their breath! Following MARCHES ON, APRIL FOOLS, and MAYBE? comes PSL PRESENTS: WHAT
JUNE TALKIN’ ‘BOUT WILLIS?, PSL’s final show at TheatreNOW till August 2013! And to celebrate this
occasion, they convinced TheatreNOW’s very own Zach Hanner to preside over the show as host!
PSL was founded in 2010 and, since its inception, has mounted sketch comedy (TNL, PSL Presents), musicals
(‘Dr. Horrible’, ‘Cannibal! The Musical’), and original theatrical productions (‘Pineapple-Shaped Show’, awarded
Best Original Production at the 2012 Star News Awards). PSL has loved performing at TheatreNOW but, in
preparation for the fall, they have decided to take a break from their regularly scheduled programming to plan a
worthy comeback in August.
From a jobless cowboy, to a hell of a tech support call, to the final frontier, this edition of PSL PRESENTS
promises to be a fittingly bizarre yet entertaining end to the first season of PSL’s latest excursion into the
comedy world.
PSL PRESENTS: WHAT JUNE TALKIN’ ‘BOUT WILLIS?, stars Wesley Brown, Rachel Helms, Ben Henson,
Chris Lewis, Jordan Mullaney, Zach Pappas, Brett J. Young, Jake Steward & Ryan P. C. Trimble, and is
hosted by Zach Hanner; it features works written by Devin DiMattia, Ben Henson, Zach Pappas, Jake Steward
& Brett J. Young.
The show goes up June 6th at 8pm (doors at 7:30). Tickets are only $5! So bring your friends, bring your
family, bring your cat if you want—just COME to PSL PRESENTS: WHAT JUNE TALKIN’ ‘BOUT WILLIS?
